Soho St. #review #vegetarianfood #experience
Cheers to our very first post.
So, today I would be reviewing this restaurant I visited with my friends last week- Soho St. Koramangala, Bangalore. Soho St.
Once you enter the ambience is very warm and welcoming, smell of the grills and fresh hot food is always inviting. You are greeted by the friendly staff and will be a offered a complimentary drink.
After a long tiring day, must say the drink does freshen you up. Combination of Lime, Blue Curacao and Soda does the trick.
Crazy Foodie Ratings- 4.5/5
Warmly welcomed and greeted, quite happy with the staff. Though there are times that you find lost at the assistance provided, likely to happen if you visit here for the first time. Attenders lose track of customers once the crowd increases and you may have to wait to grab attention of one. That apart, they are quite friendly and helpful.

The Ambience and their Bar |
Ambience-
The Main Course |
Lighting of the place was dim and added on to the romantic ambience of the place. Quite bright lighting in the food section to highlight their dishes in contrast to the lighting in the dining area. Music in the background and two screens projecting sport channel adds up to the entertaining aspects of the restaurant.Soho St. create a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant ,making it perfect for all occasions.

Lord of the Grills |
Quality of Service-
Happy and pleased with their service quality. Efficient and well trained. Well maintained utensils and hygienic surroundings. Not much to pick for this slot, overall a very fine job on that.

Food-
We opted for the vegetarian menu, thus I would not be able to review the non-vegetarian dishes, will update once I have tried the non-vegetarian course too.
Grills- We were offered a combination of the following-
Grilled Babycorn- Lacked flavour, quite didn't go with our palette.
Grilled Mushrooms- Mushrooms were fresh and juicy, but then again the lack of spices and flavour let it down.
Grilled Potatoes- Potatoes were good. Everyone loves a good portion of hot, spicy and tangy potatoes.
Soup-
Vegetable and Lemon Chinese Soup with Fried Noodles- Fresh and light. Lovely Flavour.
Starters-
Cheese Balls- Nice flavour and filling but then the cold temperature made it soggy.
Steamed Vegetable Dumplings- Good job on them, if you love dumplings, you'd love them for them for sure.
Ajwaini Paneer Tikka- Typical North Indian flavours- Smoky, Tangy and Delicious. Tandoor treat.
Vegetable Sushi- Tried it for the first time, quite didn't enjoy the texture.
Main Course-
Mini Pizza- The pizza base wasn't baked enough which let the whole dish down.
Alfredo Penne Pasta- Live Pasta counter. Made it as per my choice of flavour and preferences.
Baked Cheesy Corn and Spinach- Absolutely brilliant. Cheesy cream, healthy spinach and sweet corn.
Desserts-
Baskin Robbins Missisippi Mud Ice cream- No comments on this one. Name says it all.
Caramel Pudding- Excellent texture but lacked a bit on the sweetness.
Gulab Jamun- Fared well among my friend but a touch too sweet for my taste.
Fhirni- Lacked the sweetness and taste it deserved.
Chocolate Brownie with Chocolate Syrup- Brownie was touch over baked and syrup tasted artificial

Overall Comments-
Was let down with the food, and it was quite an excellent gesture that the executive chef paid personal notice to it. Would visit them once more to try their non vegetarian course.
Would the Crazy Foodie Recommend it?
YES! Provided they improve on their quality of food.
Do feel free to comment on my review and share your opinion. Shall be back soon with my next post. Until then, FreakOut!!!!!
